Mark Stafford, the owner of 151 Sports Marketing, LLC, is a 30-year sports marketing executive.  Marks’ career has featured extensive event management, sponsor procurement, public relations campaigns, and athlete representation.

Mark was born in Statesville, North Carolina, and graduated from Statesville High School in 1978.  Following high school, Mark attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in May of 1983.  Mark also captained the 1982 Spartan Basketball Team.

Mark began his professional career in the NASCAR industry and worked at three of the premiere superspeedways in the world.

A 17-year career included stints at race tracks in Charlotte, Atlanta, and Texas.

Following his tenure at the Speedway Motorsports’ facilities, Mark joined Long Drivers of America and assisted in the maturation of the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship and Pinnacle Exceptional Driver Championship.  Both events were broadcast on ESPN.  Mark was instrumental in adding quality marketing partners such as O’Reilly Auto Parts, Honda, and JLG Industries.

In 2009, Mark decided to create his own business, and his passion for traditional sports led him to his current occupation.  Today, Mark promotes and orchestrates some of the finest high school sporting events in the country.  151 Sports Marketing oversees multiple high school basketball tournaments and football showcases.  His attention to detail creates outstanding experiences for the players, coaches, and fans who support these young athletes.

Mark currently resides in Southlake, Texas but his event calendar will have him working in the Carolinas a great deal.
